NOTE: Inside Outer Canada, which examines Canadian regional alienation, was first published in 1990, shortly after David Kilgour was expelled from the Progressive Conservative Party of Brian Mulroney for opposing the GST. Its publication preceded his joining the Liberals in 1991.
